Memphis Tier One Consultants Stress the Power of a Great Network
Memphis Tier One Consultants has been honouring its commitment to adding value to the business world. Last week, the firm launched an initiative to encourage professionals to create a network of support to help them accomplish greater goals.
The company has been considering motivational speaker Jim Rohn’s theory, “you are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.” According to Rohn, there are two variables that determine how much of one’s thoughts and actions are influenced by the people around them. The first is consciousness and resilience as an individual. The second is the collective sum of consciousness of the people around. These combine to impact who any individual becomes. In their workshop to contractors, Memphis Tier One Consultants warned that even if you are the most conscious and smartest person around, if you are constantly surrounded by negative, fear-based people it will impact your progression in life. As CEO Hemanathan Thambyrajah explained, “If you hang out with a group of successful, positive individuals who believe in taking responsibility for their lives, you will become a proactive individual who shapes his or her future. If you hang out with a bunch of pessimists who believe that the world is out to get them and there is nothing worthwhile, you will start to descend into a pool of negativity at some point, even if you are initially a positive person.”

The investigation has led to the firm launching an initiative to help professionals build better support networks. Mr Thambyrajah has revealed his top tips on making the right company. He recommends surrounding yourself with people who get it. It takes a certain kind of person to have the single-minded approach to start a business. The CEO makes the effort to surround himself with people that don’t just understand why he does it, but support his directive and understand the need to throw everything at their passion. Memphis Tier One Consultants believe there’s a real need to surround yourself with positive and constructive people who give you the advice and support you need. This means making acquaintances who are interesting and inspiring.
The firm is eager to promote the idea that it’s never too late to make new friends. Many believe this gets harder as one gets older, but the company insists it’s easy to meet all kinds of people every day. Memphis Tier One Consultants are helping their workforce to build support by encouraging collaboration through regular meetings and workshops, linking them with industry experts from across the US at regular events, where they can form connections and gain new perspectives. They believe that meeting with others and sharing ideas is a key part of both personal and professional development.
